Kate & Dave | Ranch Dinner | Port Hope, ON

On the evening before their wedding, Kate and Dave hosted a BBQ gathering at Kate's family's ranch in Port Hope, Ontario. It was a magical evening accompanied by some swift weather changes. Dinner outdoors was rained out by a downpour but eventually the storm cleared revealing a double rainbow and a spectacular sunset. The evening concluded with a game of custom-made trivia which we Canadians learnt is a favourite past-time in Australia.

Danielle & Mark | July 4, 2015 | Toronto, ON

I've been jamming with this fantastic duo for over a decade now. We met while working at city day camp as a summer job which also played cupid for some lucky individuals. Before we knew it over 10 years have passed, we've grown up from those teenage years, and yet another camp couple -MJ and Suppa- are wed!

It is always an honour when people ask me to photograph their event and it's a little extra sweet when it's a close friend and in this case, friends. Danielle and Mark wanted their wedding to be a personalized and collaborative affair so they reached out to loved ones and fellow creatives to utilize their talents and expertise. They poured themselves into every detail drawing from their cultural backgrounds, Italian and Indian, as inspiration for the food, décor and gifts for guests (hand-poured and custom scented soy-wax candles). In collaboration with floral designer Lauren, from Timberlost & Humblebound, Danielle brought her vision and love for (tropical) plants to life using bits of foliage and subtle florals as centrepieces and larger plants as décor throughout the venue.

It was such an honour to be a part of Danielle and Mark's wedding celebrations. They are truly a couple to admire having built their relationship on friendship, laughter and most importantly, a shared loved for dance parties.

I love you two and wish you decades upon decades more of love and happiness! ox
