In celebration of the end of the season I hosted a backyard dinner with some friends. With the gracious help of my friend (and foodie extraordinaire) Julia, we enjoyed home-cooked fare that was light, fresh and comforting as the sun went down. With the winter upon us now, sometimes we'll do all that we can to cherish every last moment spent (comfortably) outdoors.
