Kate & Dave | August 1, 2015 | Port Hope, ON

It's hard to believe that summer has come to an end. It seems like just yesterday that I was at Kate and Dave's wedding enjoying the Ontario countryside. These two, along with their families and close friends, are some of the most generous folks I've ever met. Kate & Dave's wedding was a weekend affair starting with a dinner on the eve before the big day and a goodbye brunch the following morning. Bringing their two worlds together, his from Australia and hers from Canada, it was an intimate weekend were everyone was welcome and quickly became friends. Working on a long weekend isn't so bad when they are as lovely as this one. Congrats again to Kate and Dave and thank you for being such caring, thoughtful and FUN hosts!

Kate & Dave | Ranch Dinner | Port Hope, ON

On the evening before their wedding, Kate and Dave hosted a BBQ gathering at Kate's family's ranch in Port Hope, Ontario. It was a magical evening accompanied by some swift weather changes. Dinner outdoors was rained out by a downpour but eventually the storm cleared revealing a double rainbow and a spectacular sunset. The evening concluded with a game of custom-made trivia which we Canadians learnt is a favourite past-time in Australia.
